Leonard Flier is the founder and editor of City on a Hill. His is also the lead developer and president of BookDiscovery.com. Leonard received his Ph.D. in philosophy from the University at Buffalo and his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the University at Vermont. He was a teacher in the Peace Corps (Fiji, 1989-91) after which he started a company to publish textbooks in his host country, where he lived and worked for an additional ten years. He now lives and works in his late grandmother’s farm house in Western New York. He has two amazing adult children and he enjoys reading, writing, and sailing.
